Showcase Event 2021
Our 2021 Showcase Event was a celebration of students' achievements, all of whom have been working hard over 15 weeks to produce innovative, creative solutions to the B!GGEST issues.We awarded the top projects and shared inspirational talks from the best thinkers and doers in Ireland! The event was opened by Maria Walsh MEP, the youngest ever MEP in Ireland with Emma Power 2FM as our expert MC. David Pollard from EIIT talked on the importance of Problem Solving, while Roísin Lafferty founder of KLD shared the power of Empathy. Lara Hanlon Senior Designer at IBM gave us an eye opening lesson on Divergent Thinking and Davy Fitzgerald, Wexford Senior Hurling Manager was the only man to talk to on the value of Resilience.
